For two years now I’ve run the Levy County Fair in my backyard. We’ve had fried food from corn dogs to clam strips, bingo night, a pie eating contest, a visit to wild west town, a chicken rodeo, concerts from such disparate artists as Ximena Sarinana and Dee-Lite, a dog show and even a visit from Delta the Penguin (the fair mascot). It’s been a trip for a time period when we haven’t really been taking trips and with any luck year 3 will finally change the tagline from #pleasedontcome to something a bit more welcoming.
